What does LandIt do?

LandIt rewrites and structures your existing CV for a specific job description. It uses the facts you provide to improve clarity, relevance and ATS-friendly wording.

Will it invent experience or qualifications?

No. The optimiser is designed not to invent employers, dates, achievements, qualifications, metrics, tools, responsibilities or work experience.

Do I need an account?

No. The MVP does not use accounts, dashboards or subscriptions.

What information do I need to provide?

You need your current CV and one target job description. Remove anything you do not want processed before submitting.

How is my CV data used?

Your CV and job description are used to generate the tailored CV, match score, missing keywords and review notes. They may be sent to the OpenAI API for processing.

Is my CV used to train AI models?

OpenAI states that API data is not used to train or improve models by default unless explicitly opted in. The Privacy Policy should be the source of truth for launch wording.

Is payment secure?

When Stripe Checkout is enabled, payments are processed by Stripe. LandIt should not handle your full card details directly.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds should be available for duplicate payments or where payment succeeds but the service cannot deliver a result. See the Refund Policy for detail.

Can I cancel after paying?

Because the result is generated immediately, checkout should ask you to confirm that processing starts straight away and that you may lose the 14-day cancellation right once the digital service begins.

Does this guarantee interviews?

No. LandIt can improve structure, wording and relevance, but it cannot guarantee interviews, job offers or recruiter decisions.

Can I edit the result?

Yes. You should review and edit the final CV before applying. The results page can also apply selected review notes after unlock.

What happens if the optimiser fails?

The app should show a clear error and support route. If payment was taken and no result can be delivered, the refund policy should apply.

Can I download Word or PDF?

Yes, once the result is unlocked and export controls are enabled.

How long do you keep my CV?

For MVP, LandIt should not intentionally store CVs in a database. Results may remain in browser session storage, and providers may retain limited logs under their policies.
